"Hosted
by David Brancaccio,
NOW has
been called "...must-see, make-your-blood-boil television..." by
Newsday and "...public television at its best" by the
Philadelphia Inquirer. Each week, the series sheds light on a
wide range of issues confronting the nation and explores
American democracy and culture through investigative reporting
and interviews with major authors, leading thinkers, and
artists."

One of our favorite radio programs is
" A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison
Keillor. We have found describing this
program impossible, there is nothing to compare. Garrison's riveting &
soothing voice, original and funny radio skits, the
eclectic music, and the down home stories from Lake Wobegon keep us coming back. A very nice &
relaxing Saturday evening, well worth giving it a listen.

"This
American Life" is an
extremely well written radio program, a true gem.
It can be heard around the country on your local
National Public Radio station, day & time varies.
Each week's program typically has several stories
with a shared theme about our American Life. Check out their web site
and you can listen to many of the programs over the
web, or, you can check your local NPR station for
their broadcast schedule. We love it!!!

"The
Daily Show", if you haven't seen it, you gotta
check it out if you enjoy satire and irreverent
humor. The Daily Show makes every attempt to
separate the facts from "The NEWS". The Daily
Show boasts that their broadcast is, "...unburdened
by objectivity, journalistic integrity or even
accuracy." Nothing is sacred on the Daily Show & I
love it.
Anchorman Jon Stewart with correspondents, Samantha Bee, Rob Corddry, & Ed
Helms are incredibly clever and hilarious.

Still another
one of our fav radio programs is also one of NPR's most
popular,
Car Talk.
This program is aired weekly on Saturday mornings in
most markets. "Click" and "Clack" (Tom & Ray)
dispense car information or misinformation depending
on the day. These guys from Boston are witty,
clever, and just plain fun to listen to. If
you can't listen on Saturday mornings, just go to
their web site and you can listen in on many of
their archived programs. Besides having
archived programs, there is "Time Kill Central",
"Our Lousy Show", "The Puzzler" & "Shameless
Commerce" links that may bring you a smile or two!
Click and Clack are clearly "Unencumbered by the
thought process", and I personally wouldn't have any
other way.

This
program
Wait
Wait...Don't Tell Me is hosted by Peter Sagal is a
